ABOUT THIS GUIDE
One envelope.
A clearer address.
Envelope Address Guide helps you understand where an address goes, find a familiar example, and format your own address.
What the builder supports
Common street, apartment, suite, unit, and PO Box addresses in the 50 US states and Washington, DC. You can preview a recipient address, add an optional return address, and copy the formatted text.
International addresses, military mail (APO, FPO, and DPO), US territory formats, and dual addresses are outside this version’s automatic formatting scope. For these situations, consult USPS directly.
What a preview means
The builder checks required fields, state abbreviations, and ZIP Code syntax. It does not check whether an address exists, whether a city matches a ZIP Code, or whether mail can be delivered. A preview is not a print template, a mailing label, or valid postage.
Examples are fictional demonstration data. They have not been verified for delivery. Enter and check your actual details before addressing your envelope.

Your address stays in your browser
